Howdy Peeps

what GPS is the one that 'beeps' when it is in the vicinity of a cache i.e. if you're driving along a road & pass a cache you were unaware of & the GPS beeps because it is within a certain distance of the cache?

Im guessing most sat-navs have a proximity alert. Our Garmin Nuvi is set to ding within 500m of a cache as we drive. The proximity can be set at whatever distance you like using a GSAK macro.

I use the Nuvi macro too but there's also one for Tom Tom.

Both are obviously dependent on having the caches loaded. Now if there was a SatNav with 3G and a GC app that would be very interesting!

Guys, thanks for the replies...

What model of Nuvi?

And can you please point me in the right direction to find out how to set up the GSAK Macro?
