 GC1XDQ0 - UK's 3rd Mega
I'm sure most if not all read their emails. For those that don't, the 3rd UK Mega event is being held in Perth, Scotland on 31st July 2010.

 Re: GC1XDQ0 - UK's 3rd Mega
Very early days I know.. But anyone thinking bout heading over to this one? I have a few mates in Perth, so I think this would be a great 'excuse' to meet them !! Planning on grabbing a car and hitting the highlands for a week too....

There's 8 of us going and a dog. Don't think we'll be moving about at all. Finding a place and staying put.

 Re: GC1XDQ0 - UK's 3rd Mega
I'm on the committee for Mega Scotland, there a group of us coming over to Dublin on the 11th Feb will be another 2 committee members plus cachers from just out side Perth. Feel free to ask for info about Perth, The page for the camping side of the event is now live. The Campsite is about 12 mils to the south of Perth about 15 min drive http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=ef7199d0-6031-450d-9854-7443e32178dcSnaik

 Re: GC1XDQ0 - UK's 3rd Mega
So here is the plan at the moment, from Troon up to Fort Agustus, then head on over to Applecross and through up and over the lovely pass, down to Applecross and from there kinda sticking to the coastline all the way up to John O'Grates. From there straight down to PERTH and back on over to Troon. Im wanting to take the overnight ferry on the Saturday and am planning to stay in B&B all the way for the whole week,

 Re: GC1XDQ0 - UK's 3rd Mega
Registered for the big event and posted a 'will attend' log. We haven't booked flights or accomodation yet, we're just looking into it. Hope to stay for the weekend. Should be a good 'un.

 Re: GC1XDQ0 - UK's 3rd Mega
Snaik - Certainly entising I work with Airtricity... which in turn is owned by SSE... So been over to HQ in Perth a few times, even just 2/3 weekends ago.. Last time round I managed to get a car for the trip.. which was great for caching Hoping to organise another 'work' trip for the end of July...
